We want to assure you that Petersen Clinics' physicians and staff are available and here to help you maintain your HIV medical care. Program staff are working remotely and are fully operational. We have compiled a list of resources here. Below this list, find details on how Petersen Clinic operations, and your care, are not interrupted during COVID-19.

Medical Coverage - If you have no income, or your income has been reduced you may qualify for Arizona's Medicaid Program, AHCCCS and you can apply at THIS LINK. Medical Care at Petersen Clinics

Regularly scheduled appointments: Our clinical team may contact you prior to your appointment to discuss an alternative visit format, such as over the phone or internet. For questions regarding upcoming appointments, contact your Clinical Coordinator at 520-626-8598.

If you need a refill: Please contact your pharmacy to order your refill. If your prescription needs to be renewed by your physician, the pharmacy will contact us or reach out to your HIV Clinical Pharmacist for urgent medication needs. All prescriptions will be refilled, even without an appointment.

If you need to attend the lab:  Lab orders can be sent to you by email or post mail. Contact your Clinical Coordinator or Medical Case Manager for assistance at 520-626-8598. Consider calling the lab ahead of time to find out what the non-peak hours and go during those times. 

Ryan White support: Medical Case Managers are available to help you complete your Ryan White enrollment as usual. Your case manager can discuss how to electronically submit any necessary supporting documentation.

New patients: New patient enrollments will continue as usual. Please call 520-626-0962 to schedule an intake.

Information about COVID-19: Individuals with concerns about COVID-19 symptoms or exposure can now call Banner Health at 1-844-549-1851 to speak with a clinical team member to determine if testing is appropriate. The line will be staffed from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday.
