Support Services
Receiving a diagnosis of HIV can be difficult. But you’re not alone. We’ll be here every step of the way. You can count on Petersen HIV Clinics for:
- Medical case management, including benefits counseling as well as referrals to financial support programs, drug manufacturer assistance programs and community resources.
- Clinical coordination, a service that makes it easier for patients to get follow-up care and have their concerns addressed.
- Medication and treatment support from our team of pharmacists, who help with treatment adherence, managing side effects and drug interactions.
- Financial support for medical care. Our case managers can help you apply for assistance programs in the event you are unable to afford your HIV medical visits or medication.
Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program
The Petersen Clinic participates in the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, which provides HIV-related medical care to those who are unable to pay and who meet certain eligibility requirements. Funded by the Arizona Department of Health Services and the United States Health Resources Services Administration, our medical case managers can help determine if you are eligible for this program and assist you with the application process.
